well what I was gonna say is it must be very rewarding to do summat like that ...I would like to do it...........What I was gonna ask is.... I know you do for enjoyment but............When you are finished....The money you have spent for parts and so forth can you make money on selling the bike.....ie if you spend say 4 Grand to get it on the road could it sell for maybe 8 grand completed...

that would be ace ... but wer'e doing it for a bloke who started ..but could not finish ... so NO outlay ..

just as well really ,,, as half the parts are missing , he musta spent a fuckin fortune croming / polishing bits and parts and shitt like that ... pity he didnt keep all the nuts and bolts that came off ..we aint spending any dosh for bits , so gorra go see him ( maybe tommorra ) or monday ..see what he says ...might have the missing bits put away somewhere ..who knows ..seems like he went into this with no prior knowledge of assembling bikes ect ..

still its great fun .. just at a stand-till now ..

in the " bits bin " are ( what seems ) 2 different bikes ( well some parts )
putting the 2 rear mudguards was a laugh ..the rear piece was the proper one ..the front piece didnt match / fix together at all ..ive had too " modify " that ( good job it cant be seen when the seat is put on ( prolly next year i recon :lmfao )

what i think he did was ( well im sure ) buy an old knacker ... stripped it right down ( something any dummy can do ) ..spent summat like £2000 on sprucing up / new bits / ect ect ect ...hadnt gorra clue how to put it back together .

well he's gonna have to lash out a bit more i recon ..or find the IMPORTANT bits needed to get the f*ck*r running .. oh ..and the brand new wireing loom has 25 more wires then the old one ...

as i say its damn good fun ..saves watching fuckin jezza kyle and all that shitt ... if it cant be done .. so be it ... f*ck him ...

    ( but i think he'll cough up )

consider that a non photographic update lol!

tell ya what though ..its fuckin easy to see why the japs took over the motorcycle industry ..the bike wer'e doing is a 1978/9 model ...i recon Honda were a good 20 yrs infront EVEN THEN ... Z900 ( kwak ) CB750 would nail this thing in EVERY dept .. ( and im not being un-patriotic )

so its back too the jap stuff tommorra ..taking sons bike too bikers world ( coleshill ) for some new ( road bias ) tyres ... michilin pilot road 2ct .. nice bit off a blast on the gixxer ....awesome !!!

then home ..do brakes on ford fiesta ( simple thing , 1 hr job at most ) then ...lets all get fuckin drunk ... :lmfao :lmfao :lmfao
