To be fair mate, you said yerself this place would be closing down. I wasn't so sure it might revert to it's forumsfree format, I took a guess that it may, but. . . .

So to be on the safe side, and just in case, I nocked up a fallback position to go to if people wanted to. That of course includes you.

Running a site is very time consuming as you have found out and is no easy undertaking, by the way STS (bless 'im) as already had his first wrist slap over there .

As fer nicking yer custom, as I said above, it was intended as a place to continue to post IF this site vanished.
Actually, your users have been very loyal and only three have signed up over on piston broke out of your 17 members.

I've kept the forum low profile, word of mouth rather than advertise it on google, bing or yahoo etc etc , though two of those bots do visit the site from time to time.

I don't really expect the place to take off as it's neither bike manafacturer or bike model type specific. More a banta forum which now and then mentions bikes and biking. Time will tell though, but only if enough people find out about the forum, sign up and use it.

Pop over mate, have a look. You never know , you just might like the place. And I'm sure the others will be gentlemen about it and not give you (to much) grief. You could always continue the baggies - forrest banta

The other site works exactly the same as this one mate.

Did you activate your account using the email you got at the mail address you registered with ? If not that may account for your problems.

Not sure what's happening there then m8.

The site might look different but it's the same service provider, that's why everything works the same there as here.

If you like what I can do is delete your account completely and you can try re registering. You don't have to put the 64 at the end of weasel if yer dont want.
