Dozens of motorcyclists' lives could be saved every year if air bag jackets were made compulsory,do anyone on here wear one.

seems a good idea as cars have seat belts and bikers have trees,kirbs,cars well you know how it goes.

found this on the BBC i think they are avery good idea

Biker safety

gazzette that is a good post,I have never seen them Jackets before.

I CERTAINLY WOULD INVEST IN ONE.

On the down side though I think folk would take more risks though,If I am honest and was racing around Donington race track for example I would take the corners a bit faster than usual........... having fallen of 3 times with broken ribs,collar bone Etc I think these should be made compulsory.

Brilliant idea and a little more safety for us bikers.

THING IS .. by making them " compulsory " yet ANOTHER part of your freedom is being chipped away , Mad

whether its a great idea or not .

i personally would wear an helmet even if THEY wernt compulsory ( same thing )

i just dont like things pushed down me throat ( you can snigger , but it aint an inuendo ) .

dont be to willing too give your freedoms up at the drop of an hat . show some " backbone " fight for your rights for fucks sake .

helmets / back protectors / airbags / ect ect ect . are EXCELLENT ideas , but dont except them just to keep some stiff shitted beaurocrat in a job . f*ck em Mad
