just been down the local bike panel repair/spray shop .. can fix and respray VFR800 for £120 ..result !!!!! and apart from other odds and ends ,, total rebuild cost around £400 ... not bad since he's had the bike back ( as a cat G ) PLUS a cheque for £1750 ..to fix it with ...result for Moonie i'd say ..mind ya .. his MRS will fleece any money left over ..

should have more cash for " compensation / loss of earnings & clothing "

got a project too do whackjohnnie ... gonna take some piccies , dont know if its the kind of thing you'd like on here ( not a sportsbike ) ...was gonna put pics on here ( over a period of around 2 months -ish ) re-building a Triumph Bonniville 650 .. doing it for a bloke me and me mate know ..its all in boxes at the moment ..should be delivered here ( in bits ) friday ( ish ) ..theres no rush too do it ..

so would ya like too see it? .. ( bike pics ) ( when done ..or ... as its done bit by bit )

or ...not at all ( coz there shite )

done new wallpaper a year or so ago
done painting about the same time
bought new sittee just after crimbo ( buy now pay next year ) so YES i recon he'll get fleeced there
new cooker ..YES the one he's got is totally fucked ( oven part screwed ) so YES theres an avenue of expenditure of moonies money ..

think he's mrs wants an holiday in Espania 1st though ( ffs you's have thought there would be priorities there )

he DESPERATLEY wants too move out of the area anawl ( not as much has HIS neighbours want HIM to move though . :lmfao

got a good deal on his bike though ...should make a good £1500 profit ( having taken account for repairs and new bits ect ect

he's doing ok ...went to the bike shop monday ..his ordered all new kit ,, helmet / leathers & boots ... got receipt ....sent it off to insurence ... sorted

expecting cheque in a few weeks time ... then its putting bike back together ( panels/ nosecone ( when done ) and other bits n bobs ....1 hour job at max

then back on road ....he can't wait ...still hobbling / limping .. been on the back of the storm though ...

injury / weather ..dont bother the prince ...he's well battle hardened over the years .. he just keeps on going ....relentleess ... his kneee / ankle ( and the pain ) wont deter him from riding ...trust me , as soon as its back on the road ...he'll be riding it ...
