4 years ago when England was beat yet again out of the world cup I was very sad for a week or so.......This time I feel embarrassed and don't give a toss.

i was FULLY in support of cappello leading up to the world cup , thing is , he picked an ageing lacklustre squad for finals , there was a shed load of younger talent he could of picked ( see U21 squad ) ..im afraid my support for cappello ( kind of ) ended when he picked the final 23 ( 23? ) to go


pushing all this aside ..i recon this MIGHT be blessing i disquise , with the qualifiying euro 2012 comming in the autumn , i think its time to get a new broom in .. dump the manager ..dump MOST of the failiuers from this world cup campaiagne , get some young blood in ..and a manager who promotes flair , skill , and exciting footie ..there ARE the players out there who can do it .

so lets " sweep clean " , start again .. get rid of the deadwood ( gerrard , lampard to name a few stars who must go ) find a new manager ...lets get things on track for the future ..

though i admit he's do a FABULOUS job at Notts Forest ..

Too much ego too little teamwork - shabby performance all round - at least some of the other teams look as if they want to be there and win each game - and try to get to the final and win that too.

The English 'team' looked resentful, unfit, uncommitted, unco-ordinated and basically would have preferred to be shagging their best mate's girlfriend in the gold plated jacuzzi than to be wearing an England shirt and representing the country that provides them with their obscene incomes.

Changes need to be made in attitude and personnel before we can even hope to win a global competition.
