    2 more crank splits to do ... doing it a bit at a time .. needs new crank and con rod .. and piston cw/ rings .. full engine gasket set ..bottom end and top end .. new cylinder head c/w new valves ect ect ...recons £500 total ( can get a load of stuff trade ) ..woulda been about £500 labour ..plus ... ouch !!!

    i had a similer thing with a yz250 motox but i took it to bike shop that i know well and they did a great job but it cost me £450 and he did it me cheaper as mates and it was 15 years ago so i doff my cap for having a go ya self Bow respect

    bagging and labeling is a good idea ..saves words like " f*ck " c**t " bollox " b*stard " being shouted infront of the next door neighbours kids ...when ya cant find yer bits ( bike bits , NOT , **** and balls )

    and while the crank is away being re - conditioneded ..why not have new rubber stuck on Gixer ... michilin pilot race ... that'll do the trick

    there ya go ... back in frame ... all thats left is to wire it all up ... ( simple-ish ) ... was a bit of a f*ck*r lining up engine rear mount / swing arm / in the frame ...done now ...oil pipes on ... about 3 hours work today ..and the big " start up " ( HOPEFULLY )

    radiators / exhaust and all the plastics on next

    then fill up with clean oil ( was the remnants of different oils in containers )

    and about a 5 miles ride to " run in " engine

    ~~ footnote ~~ it started 1st kick ...." get in there " :lmfao
