I had a pootle to the Pondarosa - a few hardy souls up there too - snow banks 6' deep along the roadsides.

Surface was shocking - wet patches, gravel and potholes combined to make it a very 'interesting' ride out.

Lets hope they fix the roads before spring, That road from the Pondarosa to Corwen then up the A5 is awesome Idea

yup ....went out yesterday , too the cafe ( quatt ) bit chilly on the way there , and had too watch out for black ice , bit better ( warmer ) on way back ,, those of us that went are experienced in wet / cold conditions and used to it .. so no miss-haps .

BOB ... get yer but down to newtown ( mid wales )then up to crossgates ( or otherway round ) INDEED go one way ..... then turn round and go back .. 26miles of pure twisties , and nothing but twisties .. smooth un-potholed delight .. watch out for Heddlu though .. specialy on hot sundays ... best road in Wales ..by far ( though A44 is great anawl )

matlock busier than i thought it would be and the black rats were lurking had some chips from that chippy only we know bleeding vile stayed about twenty minutes and straight home bikes manky full of black scummy salty stuff .thought i might have seen ya .
