Scariest motorcycle adventure,near miss

What happened..........Mine was just last year in 2009,went to mattock by myself as you do,billy no mates,was coming back home a bit faster than normal,went round a bend and a police motorcycle was coming the other way blues and two's on my side of the road.

Passed with in inches of each other,though it happened so fast I was able to see him shaking his head as though it was my fault.

sorry mr Whackjonnie .. gorra bit of a prob wondering around in me mind ( about yer story ) ya see , you say you were zapping a considerable speed , round a bend , same as copper with " blues & two's " blazing ...missing each other by a matter of millimeters ...lets say you were both doing 80 " ish " ? combind speed of 160mph , right ?? .. how did ya manage to see him shake his head ?? if he DID actually shake his head it woulda been immediatly after the incident , not secods later . you woulda have to have come out of the bend , composed yourself , slowed down ( because you WOULD have been shaken ) then looked round , i bet he woulda been well outta sight by then . aint saying it didnt happen or anything like that mate , but ya know what im like . need to satisfy my own curiosity .

obviously you didnt notice him shaking his head in yer mirrors , cos ya aint got non ( well not in the pics ive seen )

I was only doing about 60 mph,aint got no mirrors so when he passed I turned around to see if he was following me and seen him shake his head.

When I first rode the bike with no mirrors and tried to look behind me I was all over the place,but with practice ya get better.

It didn't scare me will after it had passed.

Ya need to see the stretch off road to see.......

one small " tiny " prob ( well 2 actually ) ya dont have to reply .. i am prolly wrong and out of context , as i dont know what road look like .


you say you " looked round to see if he were following " ( ya see me prob with that ? ) he woulda have had to had a time machince to have doubled back to follow ya

and .. if you had just come from round the bend when you met ( passed by ) wouldnt he have dissappeared round the bend that you had just negotiated ??? obviously preventing observation .

moment was on Cat and Fiddle when i was on my SV.

Were really enjoying the run 2nd time on it going uptowards cat and fiddle from macclesfield.
I was coming into a left hander that was follwed by a right hander which i was approaching went round blind left hander and was met by someone on a R6 on my side of road and put a tug on bar and just missed him fucks knows how but did then just carried on with it like that road although havent been there since they put all those cameras up
