i have got a screw or nail in my tyre, the head has snapped off and isnt making contact with the road.
I am told this is because It suggests the problem with your tyres could be due to under inflation
will i need a new trye or can this be pulled and plugged.
They are fairly new only 500 miles.

Hi, I don't know what the bike is, whether tyre is tubed or tubeless, where the item is, how bad it looks etc.

If bike isn't some sort of ultra special sports bike which is likely to rip a plug out of a tyre then it may be suitable for plugging.

If you have tubed wheels then you'd probably get away with removing the object and putting a new tube in.

If the object is in the centre 75% of the tyre it's more likely to take a plug successfully.

I'd suggest speak to your local tyre place and take their advise once they have seen it.

    Hope this helps,

    Shad.

get it plugged .. ( remind me what bike it is ) ( innertube ?? )

if its tubeless they will plug it for about £15 , providing it isnt in the side wall of the tyre , aint nothing wrong with having it plugged

had a old CBR1000F , had rear tyre plugged , took me & me son down brands hatch and back , fully loaded , no problem , lasted the life of the tyre .

sports tyres , like the trackday / just road legal sort , they wont do em .. normall sports tyres they will .

if its " tubed " ?? ( tenerree ?? ) fix puncture with motorcycle puncture outfit , the hole in the tyre wont hurt , done it loadsa times

key to all this stuff is . . . .

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY , or be kidded into parting with it by some bullshitter at your local tyre place
