Sorry Boys, I'll try to dumb it down for you in future!

Hope everyone's OK out there, I had a little off on the M1 a week or so back and learned why an open faced helmet isn't always the best thing to wear (someone swapped lanes across the front of me, knocked my front wheel out from under me then drove off and left me bouncing down the middle of the motorway trying to avoid the following cars).

It wasn't as bad as it sounds, but I skinned my chin a bit and so can't shave for a couple of weeks - the beard is getting a bit itchy now!

How is the bike...........?

the bike's fine really, it ground the right hand crashbar almost right through, and moved the fairing about half an inch to the left, but that saved the cylinder head from grinding out, and everything else seemed to come out with just a few scrapes. It's still ridable (I rode it home when it happened much to my Kids disgust when I appeared at the door with blood gushing out of my face).

I guess that's the point of running a winter hack really. To save harming anything decent.

I didn't have time to be scared really, but I think a few of the following drivers has a little skidmark to show for it!

Gald you are well anyway,I got knocked off last year on the slip road of the M1 JUNCTION 26 By a Tarmac lorry,Driver never even knew he knocked me off,lying on the floor cars wizzing by not even a f*cker stopped for me.

Not sure a goatee would suit me, at the moment it's more Captain Birdseye!

I'm afraid I'm already beating the girlies off with a shitty stick, so better avoid anything that'll make me even more gorgeous!

Did you ever do the Security course? How did you get on with it?
